They are registered with the BC Association of Clinical counsellors and have completed the masters program. Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) are specifically trained to help people improve and maintain their mental health and well-being. RCCs work with many kinds of people: individuals, couples, and families in individual and group settings. Clinical counselling is typically sought when a person experiences challenging situations, thoughts, feelings, or circumstances.

I believe in the holistic approach which focusses on treating the individual as a whole. The modalities that I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, inner child work, mindfulness, EMDR and person centered, trauma informed and dialectal behavioral therapy.

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and family/ couple counselling is 80 minutes.

It varies depending on what are your goals. Initially weekly sessions are ideal and over time can be reduced to biweekly.

Yes, unless you disclose harm to yourself, someone under the age or the file is subpoenaed by court.

Yes, 15 minute phone consult to see if we are a good match. It is important that the counselling meets your needs.

48 hours notice for cancellation. Late cancellation fee is $60

Yes, I am covered by CVAP. You need to apply and show the letter of approval with the number of sessions that have been assigned.
